Slovenia's AI association sent us a spreadsheet. Six steps later they had a public map their members, the press, and investors could all use.

What they sent us

A list of member companies across a few rough categories. Incomplete, out of date, and nobody's favourite job to maintain. That is the normal starting point, and it is enough.

You do not need to tidy it up first. This is what we start with.

2 · Cleaned up

Duplicates gone, gaps filled

We merged the duplicate records, standardised the fields, filled in what was missing, and added companies that belonged but were not on the list. You get this cleaned dataset back whatever else you do with it.

We build the categories from the membership itself, not from a generic industry list. Members recognise where they sit, and so does everyone searching. You can edit them later without calling us.

CASE STUDY 01 Industry Association · Slovenia

SloAI turned a growing community into a searchable ecosystem.

Slovenia's AI entrepreneurs and practitioners were already gathering through an informal association called SloAI. But there was no systematic way to see the companies, investors, and organizations shaping the country's AI ecosystem.

To turn that fragmented landscape into something the community could use, the association engaged data.Flowers to research, structure, and publish it as an interactive map.

CASE STUDY 02 Industry Association · Croatia

CroAI created a single public source of truth for Croatia's AI ecosystem

A national AI association was sitting on an outdated spreadsheet that needed to be updated. Anyone searching had to contact the busy volunteers operating the association, or work off of hand-crafted PDFs from a year ago.

In four working sessions, we ingested and enriched their data, built a competency-based taxonomy, grew the database through user submissions, and shipped a public, AI-searchable map.

The launch was covered by national media, including prime-time television. Investors approached the association's leadership directly afterwards; reference available on request.
